Cambodge, or Cambodia was only opened up to international tour groups two years ago and the Siem Reap area is developing the infrastructure for tourism to match its impressive temples. Click on any image to enlarge.

Angkor Wat is gorgeous and expansive.

This causeway crosses the moat that surrounds Angkor Wat. At one time it teemed with Crocodiles and was packed with slicing lotus plants.

Dave liked Angkor Wat but yearned for his DSL connection.

"The mountain" is a lone knoll that rises some 700 feet above water in the dry season. In the wet season, the floating village attaches to one side of it. In the dry season, the town moves out a few kilometers to the edge of the lake.
