Angkor Wat is gorgeous and expansive.

This causeway crosses the moat that surrounds Angkor Wat.  At one time it teemed with Crocodiles and was packed with slicing lotus plants.

Some of the victims of the Pol Pot regime at the killing fields temple near Siem Reap, Cambodge.  The bones were recovered from the fields adjacent to the temple, where prayer for the victims is ceaseless.

"The mountain" is a lone knoll that rises some 700 feet above water in the dry season.  In the wet season, the floating village attaches to one side of it.  In the dry season, the town moves out a few kilometers to the edge of the lake.
