Windows 1.0 SDK review from June 1987 BYTE Magazine

Originally started as a comparison review of GEM vs Windows from a developer perspective, BYTE editors were eventually convinced to drop GEM coverage and focus on Windows.

Lee and Dave Hart attended a Windows Development Seminar in NYC in June 1986 as this project started.  Some of the materials from the seminar can be seen here.

Dave started work at Microsoft in 1991.  A year later Microsoft published a brochure entitled Multimedia At Your Fingertips (which claims that phrase as a Microsoft trademark).
