January 31 2007 approximately 8:00 PST Worf died at Redwood Animal Hospital after a long bout with Cancer. Worf was loved and will be missed very much. The specific cancer that he had was apparently glucagonoma, a type of pancreatic cancer.
Glucagonomas are quite rare; since 1942, more than 300 cases have been reported worldwide. http://www.emedicine.com/derm/topic168.htm fits with Dr. Frank's assertion about less than 50 documented canine cases.
